USS (Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker) RIGGING & FLYING GIG

This past weekend (December 8, 2012) we got to work with an amazing Toronto band, called USS - Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker. These guys have so much energy and were an absolute blast to work with. And, they let us do one of our favourite things; Fly gags! We hooked the guys up to harnesses rigged to a counterweight, and lowered them to the stage for a dramatic entrance to their show at the Sound Academy. Thanks so much to USS, and everyone else involved!

HAMILTON SUPERCRAWL 2012

UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO FOAM PARTY 2012

This year Circus Orange staged a custom version of our new show Pyro Mobile at SuperCrawl, a hybrid music and arts festival in Hamilton. We took over the intersection of James St. North and York St. in the heart of the festival site. Our custom mobile rig flew three talented aerialists fifty feet in the air beneath an industrial crane. Of course there was atmospheric and pyrotechnic effects shooting towards the heavens as the crowds screamed for more. What a blast (literally)!

This year we got called back in to do the University of Toronto's annual Foam Party. We've got the largest foam machine in North America, and we sure put it to good use! Who doesn't love dancing inside an 8ft high wall of pure foam? We know we do! This video blog is brought to you by Paddy Murphy, Bryce Goodwin and all the gang here at Circus Orange.
